The BC Baptist Association thanks Tim Doling for his years of valuable service on the Executive Council and welcomes the newest member to the team, Dan Hoffman.
Dan Hoffman grew up in Prince George and thought he was escaping the city when he was 19. He had the opportunity to study in Vancouver and then he and his wife Nikki spent four years teaching English in South Korea and working in a neighbourhood church of 40,000.
In 2010 Nikki and Dan began feeling like Jesus was drawing them back to Canada and they were surprised to find themselves heading right back to Prince George and a community church called Fort George Baptist. 11 years later it has been a wild ride of watching God do all sorts of things they had never imagined possible. Truly God is the one who is building His kingdom and increasing His glory, and if we are willing to get on the train, He loves bringing us along for the ride!
Dan and his wife used to enjoy quiet walks on the beach, but now that they have four kids he prefers chaotic living room wrestling matches and picking food scraps off the floor in the kitchen (it’s better to enjoy something you actually get to do 😉).
Dan is honoured to have been asked to serve with the rest of the BCNAB Executive.
